Cause:

Missing device line.

Solution:

It is a possibility that your mouse may not have the mouse driver properly configured in your system.ini. Edit your system.ini and ensure that under the [boot] section you have mouse.drv=mouse.drv. Another recommendation you may want to attempt if this does not resolve your issue is rename the system.ini to a temporary file such as system.ch and then rename the system.--- or another backup of the system.ini to system.ini.
