Character map

The different characters stored on an image that are stored to make a picture. When the image is needed again, the character map will remake it with how it was stored.

To open the character map in Microsoft Windows 95 and above, click Start / Run and type "charmap" (without the quotes) and press the OK button. A listing of other run line commands can be found here.
