any of these a flood refers to any information or data overflow
that causes other users grief and/or causes other computers,
hardware, or software to fail. For example, in a
Denial of Service (DOS) attack a user
sends millions of invalid packets
or requests to another computer or network causing it to fail or
slow down so much users stop using it.
