Full-screen

  1. Object or window that occupies the complete computer screen, covering up anything in the background. When a window or option is not full-screen it is often known as a window.
  2. FullScreen format is also a display format that modifies the original movie to fit the aspect ratio of your TV or other display. Often movies that are displayed in FullScreen format will have a notice before the movie starts indicating that the movie has been formatted to fit your TV. During this formatting process the edges of the movie are cut off allowing the movie to fit on your screen but not displayed how the director originally intended it to be viewed.
  • See document CH00020 for additional information about how to make the Windows command prompt full screen.
  • Additional information about how to run a batch file in full screen can be found on document CH001049.
