HPFS

Short for High-Performance File System, HPFS is a file system first introduced with IBM OS/2 1.2. HPFS is available on OS/2 1.2 and above as well as with Microsoft Windows NT 3.0. HPFS supports long file names and large hard drives when compared to FAT. 
  • HPFS supports a maximum of 64 GBytes
  • HPFS386 is a 32-bit Version of HPFS used with IBM LAN Server Advanced and Warp Server Advanced.

Overall, HPFS is not commonly found or used with today's computers and servers.
