When referring
to an online discussion such as a chat room or a message board a
moderator is responsible for monitoring the discussion and ensuring
that all rules are abided by. Generally the moderator will have the
capability of fixing errors, removing obscene content, and/or
kicking/removing a user who is breaking the rules. However, do not have complete control of what is being moderated.
