mouse
cursor,
or mouse
pointer, is often shaped like an arrow or a small hand with
the index finger pointing towards the top of the
display
device.
The mouse pointer
moves
as the
user moves his or her mouse and is used as a reference
point
to where the mouse is located on the display
screen.
