Windows 98, Windows
ME, and Windows XP that enables
users to quickly and easily configure how their computer starts and
what programs and/or services automatically load each time the
computer starts. Users running any of the above versions of Windows can quickly open msconfig by following the
below steps.
- Click Start and Run.
- Type msconfig and press enter and you should see the
System Configuration Utility window as shown in the below
example picture.
Note: Users running Microsoft Windows XP need to have
administrator rights to run this command.
