A
computerized replication of a human's voice. Speech synthesis is
commonly accomplished by either piecing together words that have
been pre-recorded, or combining an assortment of sounds to generate a
voice. Speech synthesis is commonly accomplished by entering text
into the computer and having the computer read that text out loud.
